progressing further into the packing. while sorting out the contents under my bed, the biggest freaking wolf spider just rolled up beside me and was all like "word". i was all like "whoah" right back and got him on an old newspaper and put him outside and he was totally like "peace".

cleaning out my old living quarters took a bit longer than expected, much to the disappointment of several. my car is completely full of my stuff. it takes five more minutes to get anywhere because of the weight, and i haven't gotten around to emptying the trashables occupying the backseats of the bronco.
having the house all to myself today was pretty sweet. i always think of 'home alone' and rig booby traps in case anybody comes in while i'm there. burglar comes in, turns door knob, tugging string, knocking a basketball down a makeshift ramp, dropping on the lever mechanism, squeezing the trigger of a staple gun and shooting at the kneecap of unwitting burglar. bam!
needless to say, i have less than two days left in winston. i'll try to make the best of them, you'll see.
